I agree with Kruse's comment but would cghane it to: If it's good, it's good no matter the medium. I'm just as likely to read a long piece in the New Yorker or Vanity Fair as I am say on the NYT mag or Sports Illustrated web site. If it's interesting enough, I don't care if I have to click next' or flip a page, I'm sticking with it.What I don't find surprising about this argument, or rather about the sides involved, is that TIME is saying it doesn't work and NYT mag is saying it does. How much does quality of stories play into this?
