I'm not sure exactly what's going on here, but I love it.
(if I ever go to Japan, I suspect that I'll never even leave my hotel room....)

This is just more proof that the Japanese are more evolved than everyone else. (I so want one of those outfits.)

Having been to Japan, I think that you would leave your hotel room. Most of Japanese TV is fairly pedestrian. It's more interesting than American TV on average, but not a lot more interesting. Now, if you had satellite TV, it might be a different story, but every hotel room I've stayed in in Japan has about roughly 6 channels, generally all broadcast TV. And usually at least one of them is showing news and at least one either baseball or sumo, which is good, but isn't wild and wacky.
