The first thing that struck me had to do with the hard copy of Express that you rceeclyd on Feb. 24. Even knowing you had to write this post, you didn't seem to fret over not having the hard copy because it was so simple to find it online. Also, the comment you made about how the online publication is starting to mirror the print publication goes to show that online media is moving in the same unknowing direction as print media.Your conclusion supports a feeling I have that we, as journalism students, and college students in general, are atypical online media consumers. We don't sit at a desk 9-5 and we don't have the time at night to just sit down and watch the news after dinner. Our media consumption comes differently than students of other majors and definitely differs from people in the work place. The same goes with the audio and visual consumption. Reading takes much less time just to scan something and time is something we have very little of.
