I woke up this morning with this running through my head:

So I had to search it out.  Thank goodness for YouTube.

It was a pretty good weekend, too; on Friday we had a nice quiet evening at home, with delivered food and Grosse Pointe Blank, a movie that both of us absurdly love but hadn't seen in a while. 

Saturday, we slept a little late, then took a nice long walk -- down to Long Island City, across the bridge to Manhattan, and around the Upper East Side -- before heading back home and deciding to throw an impromptu cocktail party.  We had Ramos Gin Fizzes, French 75s, Corpse Revivers, Sazeracs, very bad movies, Cibo Matto and Dan the Automator on the stereo, and a really good time with friends.

And yesterday, we both had to work (alas, I had to blow off a Forgotten NY walking tour), but I roasted a chicken afterwards and we hung out and had dinner with a good friend who's now a neighbor...yes, Astoria has quite the gravitational pull lately.

Sounds like a lovely weekend. Sorry you had to miss the walking tour. I was looking forward to seeing your photos from it ('coz I figured if they had one, you'd be there). Ah, well.
