On Friday, as I went to work, I was startled to see a Checker cab (I love Checkers) going down West 58th Street. I was even more startled when I noticed that it was being pulled on a dolly, and that the front seat was occupied by guys with video cameras, shooting actors sitting in the back seat. The back window was covered with a gel, and you can see the crew guys sitting on the back of the crew truck. Not visible: the NYPD car, lights a-flashing, that led the whole procession.

(P.S.: I'm informed the truck is a "shotmaker", and the guys sitting on the back are bigwigs, not crew guys.)
