If you don't have The Complete New Yorker, you may want to get it now -- they've halved the price to fifty bucks.
You might wanna read Mr. Jalopy's experiences with the Complete New Yorker DRM before you shell out yer hard-earned clamolas, though.
Having said that, though, I can still see the appeal of a nearly bottomless well of the finest writing magazine-dom has to offer. It's just a pity they b0rked up the implementation so badly.

Yeah, I saw that. I wasn't planning to mount the DVDs myself (since my laptop's HD isn't that huge), but can see how it could be very useful.
I still have mine and enjoy it, but it is a pain the way they implemented it...especially because they didn't strictly need to do it the way they did.
