Last month, I was downtown and had a little time to kill, so I walked halfway across the Brooklyn Bridge and back. (Alas, I didn't have enough time to go all the way across.)

Oh, it's a good 'un. And there is a coal-oven pizzeria (like Lombardi's!) very close to the bridge on the Brooklyn side...
