It's interesting seeing Bourton-on-the-Water mentioned in BoingBoing. It's a nice but touristy little town in the English Cotswolds, the kind of place where you could die of an unexpected quaint attack. (And the Model Village is indeed cool.) If you're there, I'd recommend the twenty-minute walk to Lower Slaughter, an even more picturesque and less-well-known village nearby. (And, predictably enough, it's just down the path from Upper Slaughter. The town of Chipping Campden is worth a visit as well.
