Check out this Photoshop contest -- people were invited to submit portraits of contemporary celebrities, done in the style of famous painters. I think my favorite was the one of Kelly Osbourne, as painted by Manet.
Along the same lines, check out Honest Album Titles.
Sheesh -- I must be *seriously* out of touch with the crazy kids today -- I don't think that I've heard of 90% of those bands.
